Red Birds Wearing Shoes, 100% Silk Twill, Long Rectangular Scarf

I absolutely love birds and they appear in many of my designs. They bring beautiful sounds and images to our everyday life. I love to watch them and then draw them in an attempt to bring out their different features and ways, exaggerating some aspects and they finally become little characters. I envy the perceived freedom of the birds and imagined these characters also may envy some aspects of human existence? I also love shoes so together I  imagined the birds wearing shoes and loving it. These super, lovely, fashionistas of colour love to wear high heels to match their magic feathers.

This is a rectangular scarf which is very versatile as a wrapped over scarf or as a beautiful shawl. Silk twill is beautiful to wear, it has a matt finish and a lovely comfortable soft feel.

Description

Material: 100% Silk twill

Hem: Hand rolled hem

Dimensions: 182cm long and 65cm wide

Care Instructions:

Silks, woolens, silk-cotton blends and other delicate natural fabrics that require dry cleaning,  may also be hand washed with considerable care. In order to maintain the luxurious softness and vibrant colours it is recommended that they are washed using cold water and a neutral soap such as Woolite or baby shampoo. Do not rub or brush, just gently move it about in the water. Avoid soaking in water for long periods. Rinse with cold water, do not twist or wring as this will damage the fibers. Hang the scarf to dry away from sunlight. Iron the silk using a dry iron and not steam.
